Hurricane Dorian

DISASTER relief

On September 1, 2019, we were hit by the most devastating tropical storm to pass through the North Atlantic – Hurricane Dorian.  Our school roof was torn off, allowing the elements to destroy many of our classrooms, including but not exclusive to our book/supplies room, computer lab, and science lab.

As you can see from the photos, the school has been almost completely destroyed.  The reconstruction and re-equipping will be more than we can carry.  Every parent has been affected by the storm either through the loss of their homes or the loss of their possessions.

Since local support is non-existent, we are appealing to the broader community for help to rebuild, to reequip and to grant scholarships to those students who have lost everything and are unable to pay school fees.

Our need is not only tremendous but urgent. We need to get the school back in operation so that our students who have been displaced can return to their school with some form of normalcy after such a traumatizing experience.

We thank you in advance for your kind consideration.
